Please arrive at the designated pickup location at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Note that there will be two separate buses departing from two different locations, so it is crucial that you meet us at the pickup location assigned to you.
You have the option to leave your belongings on the bus, but please note that the bus will not be accessible until the end of the day. Alternatively, you can also rent lockers at Thredbo for added security.
Unfortunately, we do not offer the option to reserve seats. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to arrive early to ensure you get your preferred seat.
Yes, you can eat on the bus, but we ask that you eat only light snacks, and avoid bringing hot drinks or hot foods as the odors may be bothersome to other passengers. We also recommend to avoid eating messy foods that can leave a mess or have strong odors. Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited on the bus. We ask that all passengers refrain from drinking alcohol on the bus for safety reasons.
Yes, there is a toilet available on the bus for your convenience. We will also make a comfort stops along the way.
Yes, there are ample basic toilet facilities available at Thredbo. However, please note that shower facilities are not provided.
You can have breakfast and lunch at Thredbo, which offers a wide variety of options (Click here to view a list of cafe’s and restaurants at Thredbo). For dinner, options include McDonald’s, Subway, a kebab takeaway (halal), Olivers, an Indian takeaway, Red Rooster, and a service station in Goulburn.
If you choose to bring your own food, please note that it cannot be consumed in any restaurants or cafes. There are limited picnic tables available at Thredbo and Goulburn for outdoor eating.
The tour will make a stop at a ski hire store in Jindabyne, NSW where you will be able to receive discounted rental rates. To ensure an efficient process at the ski hire store, it’s important to plan ahead and know what you need to rent before joining the tour. It’s important to note that ski hire does not accept pre-bookings, payment will be required directly at the store on the day of travel (card or cash payment).
On the return trip, the bus will make a stop at the ski hire store where you can return your gear. You will be responsible for paying for any lost or damaged items.
You can participate in skiing and snowboarding at Thredbo. Other winter activities includes cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, catch the cable car ride (Gondola), disc golf, hiking or build a snowman!. There are also several restaurants, bars, and shops on the resort for for you to enjoy.
It is important to be aware that the activity of ‘Tobogganing’ (snow sledding) is not permitted in Thredbo.
Yes, in order to ski or snowboard at Thredbo, you will need to purchase a lift pass. These must be purchased in advance on Thredbo’s website.
If you are planning to take part in a group lessons. Ski lessons and snowboard lessons must be purchased in advance on Thredbo’s website at least 4 weeks in advance as they are known to sell out quickly.

If you are planning to visit Thredbo for sightseeing, a Gondola ride is highly recommended. To ensure availability, it is necessary to pre-purchase tickets directly through Thredbo’s website at least a week in advance as they are known to sell out quickly.

All bookings are strictly non-refundable.
Booking can be reschedule up to 7 days prior to departure. No refund or credit will be issued for late arrivals and/or no-shows once the tour starts.
Covid-19 Related Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your booking because you are prevented from traveling by a government ban or border closure or Ozia Tours cancels a tour due to a Covid-19 related government ban or closure, a travel credit or change of date will be offered. If you have contracted COVID-19 or a close contact, no refunds or travel credit will be provided. Reschedule of booking can be made up to 7 days prior to departure (depending on tour availability).
